Welcome to the 2022 Dufferin Wellington FASD Conference

Dear Attendees,

We are excited to have you join us for our 2nd Annual FASD Conference! We will meet virtually through Zoom, which has allowed us to reach a larger audience.

We have a few notes below to share to help the conference run smoothly. Please be sure to read this thoroughly.

** Due to copyright restrictions, sharing content, such as emails pertaining to the conference, workshop materials including handouts or PowerPoints and/or recordings of sessions with individuals who have not purchased their virtual seat for the conference is strictly prohibited.

This event is being held on Thursday May 19, 2022 through Zoom, an online platform. An email will be sent to you on Friday May 13, 2022, which will provide you with log in information to allow you access to the Conference Portal, and access to the Zoom meeting. Ensure that you check your Junk or Spam folders! Only the participant that registered will be granted access.

Live Sessions:

Although participants will be able to access the event platform on Friday May 13, 2022, the sessions will not be running live until May 19th, 2022. You are able to leave and join sessions as you please; however we encourage you to remain in the session from start to finish to ensure you receive a better learning experience.

The current schedule line-up is listed on the 2022 Conference Agenda tab of the Conference Portal at: dufferinwellingtonfasd.com

Please note that participant interaction in each session is unique to the presenter. You will be notified of the format at the beginning of the session. It is at the Presenter's discretion on whether they choose to address questions or host a Q & A during their presentation.

Be sure to check out the "People with FASD, Talk about FASD", a short video compilation about life with FASD featuring eight individuals of various ages. We hope that their candid and insightful perspectives offer you a hint of what it is like to live every day with FASD.

Post Event:

Following the event, we will be sending out a survey and would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to provide your feedback.
